Admissions
How do I enrol my child at Childcare International School?
Start by applying online using the apply button on any page, or visit the school directly at Tantri Street, Cape Coast. Our admissions team will guide you through the process, which includes submitting required documents and a brief assessment for older students.
What age can my child start at CCI?
We accept children from as young as 3 months old in our Creche programme. Our programmes span Creche (3 months to 2 years), Nursery (2 to 3 years), Kindergarten (3 to 5 years), Primary School (6 to 12 years) and Junior High School (12 to 16 years).
Do you accept mid-term or mid-year enrolments?
Yes. We welcome new students throughout the academic year, subject to available spaces. Contact us directly to check current availability in the level you need.
What documents are needed for admission?
You will need a birth certificate (original and photocopy), two passport photographs of the child, the child's previous school report card (if applicable), a parent or guardian national ID, immunisation records and a completed admission form.

What curriculum does CCI follow?
Childcare International School follows the Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum, enriched with our own holistic approach. We cover English Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Ghanaian Language (Fante), ICT, Physical Education, Cultural and Moral Education, and more.
How do students prepare for the BECE?
Our JHS programme is designed specifically to prepare students for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). We provide rigorous academic coaching, past question practice, mock exams and guidance counselling so every student is confident and well prepared.
Does CCI offer extra tutoring or after-school support?
Yes. We offer after-school tutoring sessions and holiday programmes through our Community Outreach Centre for students who need additional support or wish to advance their studies.
School life
What are the school hours?
School hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm for the Main Campus. The Junior Campus (Early Years Annex) runs from 7:00am to 3:00pm. Parents are encouraged to pick up children promptly.
Does CCI have a school uniform?
Yes. All CCI students wear the official school uniform. Details on uniform requirements and where to obtain them are provided on admission. We believe uniforms foster a sense of unity and pride.
What extra-curricular activities are available?
We offer a wide range of activities including football, cultural dances, debate club, drama and theatre, science and maths club, music and choir, environmental club and reading club. We encourage every student to take part in at least one activity.
Is there a school canteen?
Yes, our Main Campus has a school canteen that provides nutritious meals and snacks. Parents may also send packed lunches with their children.

Are there any scholarships or bursaries available?
CCI is committed to making quality education accessible. We occasionally offer support for exceptionally talented or financially disadvantaged students. Please speak with the school administration to enquire about available support.
